City on a Hill Spokane began in January 2019, when the Holy Spirit placed a vision on the hearts of Sergey and Olga Tsuber to plant a church that would reach the greater Spokane community with the love and hope of Jesus.

We believe church planting is close to God’s heart. Through the local church, people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, find meaningful community, and are equipped to share the Gospel with others. As the Holy Spirit prepared the way, He brought together a team united by faith and a shared desire to see lives transformed by Christ.

Knowing that God’s work is never meant to be done alone, the team partnered with Life Center Church in Spokane. We remain deeply grateful for their friendship, encouragement, and continued support in helping establish City on a Hill Spokane.

Today, we are a vibrant international church family representing different cultures and languages, yet united as one in Jesus Christ. Our heart is to help people experience grace, find freedom, and belong to God’s Kingdom. We believe Jesus changes everything, and we are committed to sharing His love with Spokane and beyond.
