Gospel

Romans 10:9

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Jesus Christ as Savior

Baptizer of the Holy Spirit

Luke 3:16

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

1 Peter 2:24

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Jesus as Healer

Jesus the soon to come King

Acts 1:11

“Who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

Our Statement Of Faith

  • We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers for life and ministry, coming upon them in the same way described in the book of Acts. (Acts 2:4)

  • We believe baptism by immersion is an outward picture of an inward change — dying to our old life and rising into new life in Christ. We also regularly share communion together, remembering Jesus' sacrifice through bread and the cup. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; 1 Cor. 11:24-25)

  • We believe following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. Every believer is called to belong to a local church and gather regularly with other believers. (Heb. 10:24-25)

  • We believe governing authorities are established under God and should be honored and obeyed, except where a law directly conflicts with God's revealed will. (Rom. 13:1-5)

  • We believe growth in faith is a lifelong process. God is continually shaping us to look more like Jesus. (Heb. 6:1)

  • We believe God still heals today, and we pray in faith for healing — physical, emotional, and spiritual. (James 5:14-16)

  • We believe the church exists to carry the good news of Jesus to the world and to help people become His followers. (Mark 16:15; Matt. 28:19-20)

  • We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (2 Cor. 13:14)

  • We believe humanity was created in God's image, but through disobedience, sin entered the world and separated us from Him. (Rom. 5:12)

  • We believe the Holy Spirit gives every believer spiritual gifts to serve the church, and that a Spirit-filled life shows itself through godly character. (1 Cor. 12:1-11; Gal. 5:22-25)

  • We believe heaven is the eternal home prepared for all who trust in Christ. (John 14:1-3; Rev. 7:15-17)

  • We believe hell is the eternal reality for those who reject Christ. (Rev. 20:11-15)

  • We believe the Bible is God's inspired word, and our final authority for faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

  • We believe every person will one day stand before Christ to give an account, resulting in eternal life or eternal separation from God. (Rev. 20:11-15; Heb. 9:27; 2 Cor. 5:10)

  • We believe followers of Jesus are called to lives marked by balance, gentleness, and patience — not extremes. (Phil. 4:5; Col. 3:12-13)

  • We believe that when someone puts their faith in Jesus, they become a genuinely new person, with Christ's life now at work in them. (2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 2:20)

  • We believe that turning from sin and fully accepting Christ is how we're made right with God. (Rom. 10:8-10; 1 John 1:9)

  • We believe Jesus died in our place, while we were still sinners, offering forgiveness to all who believe in Him. (John 3:16; Rom. 5:8)

  • We believe salvation is a gift — received through faith in what Jesus already accomplished on the cross, not earned by anything we do. (Eph. 2:8)

  • We believe Jesus will return personally, and that His return could happen at any time. (1 Thess. 4:16-17; Titus 2:11-13)

  • We believe God calls every believer to walk daily in the power and leading of the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 4:30-32)

  • We believe giving generously — tithes and offerings — is how God provides for His church and its mission in the world. (Mal. 3:10; 2 Cor. 9:7)
